Genus heads

Hello! I've been long gone from both SL and this website so not even sure if I got the right thread category.

I've seen the new Genus heads (was a beta when I was last online lol) and thought they are a bit too pricey for me to buy so got them a bit cheaper. Not working perfectly but good enough for me.


There is apparently a perfect version in the VIP section, I read somewhere but not sure. Anyway, am sharing my versions.

Just be warned, you will need a lot of patience to make it work and at least need to have some building skills.


I have the bento heads rigged-Baby and Classic, jaws, eyes tested. Adjusted them based on the demo- got the scripts, animations and HUDs from demo. Animation HUD works while the basic HUD is good for only the skin effect (oily, wet...), teeth look (normal, gap, vampire...), piercing and braces.


Genus appliers work normally while Omega script is not possible to be copied from the demo (gets deleted).There is an omega genus installer if you're willing to buy it and test it, I don't need it for now so did not bother.


Heads have 3 linked prims which you name and insert contents like the demo.

Eyes has 2 linked prims, while Jaws has 12 and for me jaws were a challenge-requires alot of time to name each linked prim, test if the teeth are named correctly and then again, fixing and doing it all over again.

The naming is important to have the HUDs working as much as possible.


You'll have to texture the eyes, lacrimal and teeth. Textures included in the zip, 1 for eyes and teeth and 3 lacrimal options.

To get the fatpack, go to "Bossie" store http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Mi...84/29/3003 get the DEMO, take out the scripts and put them in your mesh.

Then rename every linked part exactly like it is in the DEMO... then you will be able to use the demo HUD to change the textures
